| London, this Sunday (9th August) |
[Aug. 3rd, 2009|05:40 pm] |
On Saturday afternoon through to Sunday morning, I'll be at a housewarming in Hackney. On Sunday evening, I'll be at the Pembury Tavern. Between the two, I don't know if the hosts of the housewarming will be busy and/or exhausted, it'd obviously be silly to go back to Cambridge and I think Susan has plans that don't involve me. If you might be interested in meeting up with me for some of Sunday in London, and/or you know of things a geek should see/do in London, speak now. |

Me, I'm all for spending as much time in the rocks sections of various museums/in Paxman/on Jermyn street as possible, but these are not quite your thing, I don't think; surely there are shinies you want to look at?

Quite probably, but not having been to London much, I don't know what/where the more appropriate shinies are.
There is a Greenwich museum with lots of cool stuff about clocks. The Science Museum might also do you - e.g. http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/visitmuseum/galleries/computing.aspx - but I'm not sure how keen you are on ancient computing kit. (Ooh, and has an exhibition on astronomy at the moment!) The Natural History Museum has DINOSAURS!! :) | |
